Long Lasting Candle Life
Track 1: Don’t Skip the First Burn
The first burn sets the tone. Let the wax melt all the way to the edges (usually 2–4 hours) so your candle doesn’t tunnel. It’s like setting the needle down on Side A—gotta do it right.
Track 2: Trim That Wick
Before each session, trim your wick to ¼ inch. A long wick burns too hot, too fast—like a one-hit wonder. Trim it, and you’ll get a smoother, slower jam.
Track 3: Keep It Short + Sweet
Never burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Let it cool, reset, and come back strong. Even rockstars need a rest between sets.
Track 4: Let It Melt to the Edge
Every time you burn, give it enough time to melt across the top. That way, you’ll use every bit of wax and enjoy every note of your candle’s scent story.
Track 5: Burn Responsibly
Keep it on a stable, heat-safe surface. Away from fans, curtains, and curious pets. And never leave it solo—this show needs a stage manager (aka you).
Track 6: Snuff, Don’t Puff
Blowing it out is old-school in a bad way. Snuff it with a tool or dip the wick into the melt pool to avoid smoke and keep your air clear.
